Brian Dodson's robust tenor voice was discovered while studying
for a Ph.D. in Physics. While physics
has remained his primary profession, he has performed across the US and in Europe, and has been widely acclaimed in
performance of a wide range of material.
His operatic roles have included Don Jose in Carmen, Canio in I Pagliacci, Tamino in The Magic Flute, Rodolfo in La Boheme,
Siegmund in Die Walküre, and Samson in Samson et Dalila. On the concert stage he has performed as tenor
soloist in Bach's St. John Passion, Handel's Messiah, Mahler's Das Lied von der
Erde, and Schubert's Die Schöne Müllerin, as well as numerous recitals. He
also enjoys performing songs of the Big Band era.
Brian is available for concerts and
performances for audiences from 10 – 10000.
In addition to his operatic and classical repertoire, he also delights
in bringing audiences the songs of Broadway, Big Band, and the Christmas
season!
